North Seattle Deanery Science Fair a Near Sweep for Villa Academy Seventh Graders

On Wednesday, March 12, 2008, Villa 7th graders distinguished themselves by taking six out of eight possible awards at the 2008 North Seattle Deanery Science Fair. With 100 entries, the Science Fair took place at the Seattle NOAA headquarters and was officiated by many of the Seattle area's outstanding professionals in the fields of science, higher education, and engineering.

Mr. Scott Harron and Ms. Janis Smith helped guide the students in their projects and noted that the caliber of this year's Science Fair projects was outstanding. Thanks to the parent volunteers and Tech Department staff who also supported the students.
