QUESTIONS ASKED BY SECOND-GRADE STUDENTS DURING

  • How was the trip? Was it fun, cool, amazing, tiring, crazy?
  • What kinds of food are you eating there?
  • Do you work in the day or in the night, and have you seen a mother Leatherback turtle?
  • How are the eggs doing? Are they doing fine?
  • Are you going to see the baby Leatherback turtles hatch?
  • How do you chase the predators away?
  • Are there lots of crabs?  Is it hot?
  • What temperature does it have to be for the eggs to have a male or female sea turtle inside?
  • Are the Leatherback sea turtles cool?
