Grandparents have a special interest in their grandchildren, which of course includes their educational experience. To that end, we hope to facilitate grandparent involvement in the lives of Villa Academy students in a few ways: each May, we invite our grandparents to a Grandparents’ Day event, where they can visit the school and their grandchildren. We also mail or e-mail grandparents some of our communication pieces, including our Annual Report and holiday card. As members of the Villa Academy community, along with the students, parents, trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the school, we also ask grandparents to participate in philanthropy at Villa Academy — largely consisting of invitations to participate in our Annual Fund and Auction.
