Faculty & Staff Grants
The Villa Parent Association Faculty & Staff Grant Program provides funding for faculty and staff projects with a focus on enhancing each students’ learning experience in the classroom. All faculty and staff are eligible to apply for grants, which are awarded in late Fall.

In past years, the Parent Association has awarded thousands in funding to innovative grant projects such as:

• Playground and gymnasium climbing walls
• Outdoor retreats, science overnights and social studies fieldtrips
• Digital video cameras, document cameras, classroom SMART Board and resource lab laptops
• Shakespeare festival, BookIt! Theater, drama workshops and professional theater consultants
• Study skills programs for Lower and Middle School students, and interactive learning systems
• WeatherNet Station, preschool garden and outdoor classroom space

Parent Association "Gifts to School"
In addition to the Faculty & Staff Grant program, the Villa Academy Parent Association presents Villa Academy with an annual “gift to school.”

The Parent Association solicits ideas for a “gift to school” from anyone in the Villa community — students, parents, guardians, alumni/ae, trustees, faculty, or staff. It is a great opportunity for the Villa Parent Association to reward an outstanding idea with funding.
