A Visit from Author Hena Khan

This week, Muslim author Hena Khan visited Villa Academy students from Preschool through 7th grade. She is Pakistan-American, born and raised in Maryland, who shares her culture and religion through her books that include Amina's Voice, Night of the Moon, and Golden Domes and Silver Lanterns. She read and conversed with students about why she writes the books she does, shared artifacts mentioned in her books, and even conducted a writers workshop. Thank you Hena, for an informative, productive, and fun day!
