Schooling of the Mind.

Education of the Heart.

Applying to Villa

Through small class sizes and a commitment to relational teaching, Villa ensures that school is a place where students are seen, known, and celebrated from their earliest days on campus. Through inquiry-based learning, Villa students remain at the center of their academic growth, collaboratively building the foundation of a joyful, lifelong learning adventure guided by talented teachers.

At Villa Academy, we are growing confident young minds with strong moral character who are prepared to make a difference. Our inquiry-based approach to education balances theory with experience, pairing student-centered academic excellence and whole child wellness with our values of growth, justice, and student agency.

BE KNOWN. BE CHALLENGED. BELONG.

  • As committed partners on the educational journey, Villa Preschool faculty and staff work in close relationship with all of our families to know and support your growing child. Following these formative years, kindergarten presents a new opportunity to change and become–both as individuals and in a connected community.

  • In the Lower School years, students commence the intellectual adventure of school–engaging in hands-on, experiential learning while building practice skills of literacy, computation, and problem solving. As they progress through these formative years, their learning is deepened by Villa faculty challenging and encouraging students to pursue their interests and engage with our complex world.

  • In Middle School, students’ learning expands even further through new and creative opportunities for inquiry. Supported by growing executive functioning skills, 5th-grade students prepare for deeper, more sophisticated inquiry work which progresses through their middle school years. Equipped with strong time management, organization, and planning skills, middle schoolers are prepared to tackle the rigors of high school while also pursuing academic passions and interests. They become writers, researchers, scientists, and mathematicians, and they graduate with a keen awareness of their ability to positively impact the world.
