Due to the continued unhealthy air quality in Seattle, Villa Academy's campus will be closed to all students through Friday, September 18, 2020.
There will be no preschool classes on campus and the supervised on-line instruction for students through the EDP program will not meet on campus.

On-line instruction will take place as previously planned and faculty/staff members will be allowed to use their Villa Academy classroom, if necessary, to provide on-line instruction.

Social Emotional Learning

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) provides children with a foundation for safe and positive growth in the classroom, on the playground, and beyond. Students’ ability to succeed in school, careers, and daily life is furthered when they:

  • Know and can manage themselves
  • Understand the perspectives of others and relate effectively with them
  • Make sound choices about personal and social decisions

At Villa, SEL is enhanced by the legacy of Mother Cabrini. Her life’s work of service to those in need sets a shining example of compassion and caring that is an important part of our school’s everyday culture.
