We take learning a step further by connecting current issues to the classroom with in-depth project-based research.
We teach STEM as an integrated approach, creating meaningful learning across subjects where students become "experts in their field."
Learning comes alive as students connect with the natural world of our 31-acre campus for experiential study beyond the four walls of the classroom.
From math wizards to those who need more support, middle schoolers benefit from a challenging yet flexible curriculum that is highly responsive to individual needs.
Middle School Science Teacher
“It’s important for students to apply science in a hands-on way, solve real-life problems, and demonstrate teamwork and leadership in the process.”
Villa's campus provides unique opportunities to explore science with the expert guidance of Dr. Marti, who studied chemical and biomolecular engineering at Johns Hopkins, and completed his Ph.D. in natural sciences from Cambridge University.
Whether engaged in Life Science, Earth Science, Physics, or Chemistry, Villa's curriculum incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards, an internationally recognized set of skills valued in scientists.
Applying what they learn in class to real life, and making it personal, means students are powerfully invested in their learning.
