In addition to fundraising events, Villa's Development Office organizes—with the help of student and parent volunteers, faculty, and staff—a slate of yearly celebrations to bring the entire school community together: the Mother Cabrini Italian Dinner in the fall; Christmas Illuminata in December; and Grandparents and Grandfriends Day in May. Development also hosts alumni events such as class reunions, and the 8th Grade Parents' Lunch*.
Each year, as their children reach the threshold of becoming Villa Academy Alumni, we honor the parents of 8th grade graduates and thank them for their partnership over the years with a special lunch, video, and presentations by school leadership. It's also a time of sharing as about-to-be alumni parents reflect on what Villa has meant to them.
