RSVP for the End-of-the-Year BBQ
Villa is excited to bring back the long tradition of the End-of-the-Year BBQ. ALL FAMILIES are welcome to attend
our BBQ. See below for details, and reach out to cmay@thevilla.org or your student’s
teacher if you have any questions. Thank you!
WHAT: A BBQ with hotdogs, hamburgers, watermelon, desserts, and
more to celebrate the wonderful year we’ve had and to honor our Villa Community! Menu link HERE.
WHERE: On Villa’s West Lawn (parking at Villa or St. Bridget’s)
WHEN: We will dismiss students by grade level for a smooth food
line. Please plan to arrive to meet your student at the following times and in the following locations:
- Preschool 12:20 PM— Pick up students from the classroom and take all backpacks/belongings if you plan to leave with students after BBQ.
- 4th-5th Grade 12:45 PM— Pick up students from the classroom and take all backpacks/belongings if you plan to leave with students after BBQ.
- 6th & 7th Grade 12:45 PM— Pick up students from the theater and take all backpacks/belongings if you plan to leave with students after BBQ.
- K-3rd Grade 12:55 PM— Pick up students from the classroom and take all bags/belongings if you plan to leave with students after BBQ.
CAN’T ATTEND? If you cannot join us for the BBQ, your students
will still get to enjoy the BBQ with their teacher. Afterward, they will go back with their teacher until Villa’s standard dismissal time.
Please note: We will NOT allow any students to walk home or leave early at 1:40 without a parent.
HOW: Park and pick up your student in the designated classroom
or space to help them through the food line. After dished up, you can sit anywhere on the West Lawn area with your family and others to
enjoy a community meal. There will be overflow parking at St. Bridget’s.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring a picnic blanket or chairs if you’d like!
You may want to bring a water bottle to refill it with our water, lemonade, or unsweetened iced tea.
PICK-UP:The BBQ will end at 1:30 PM for preschool and at 1:40 PM
for K-7. If you checked your child out with the teachers at the start of the BBQ, feel free to leave campus when the barbecue ends! All
other students will return to classrooms for activities with teachers until normal pick-up time.
EDP: For those families who utilize Villa’s aftercare, EDP will
be operating as usual on this day. For Preschool, EDP is open from 1:30-6 PM, and for K-8, the hours are 3-6 PM.
2022 Field Day & Free Dress:
Mr. Lee and the class of 2023 are excited to bring back Field Day on June 10th! The new leaders of Villa Academy will help run carnival-style games for all students in the morning on June 10th. This is a free dress day, so please have your students wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes to participate in field day.
