VPA: Villa Parent Association

When your family joins Villa Academy, you are not simply selecting a school, you’re entering a connected community.

A Community of Belonging

VPA Engagement:

  • Athletic Team Coaching

We are an educational and spiritual home for our students and their families, and our strength is rooted in the warm, vibrant relationships we share. At Villa, all families are encouraged to engage in the life of the school in a manner that’s meaningful to them and that works with their schedules–the possibilities are many!

All Villa families are automatically members of the VPA, and warmly invited to engage in a host of opportunities to get to know one another and the school. The VPA serves as the school’s primary coordinating hub, supporting Villa through connecting parents/guardians with volunteer opportunities. The VPA meets every other month, in-person or via Zoom, and coordinates the Class Representatives (the primary points of contact for each classroom). Families are invited to sign up for one, two, or numerous projects across the year! (Time commitments and hours vary per project; volunteer training and clearances are conducted/managed in the first weeks of every new school year).

SPECIAL EVENT COMMITTEES

SPECIAL EVENT COMMITTEES

Each year, Villa Academy hosts numerous community building-events supported by dedicated teams of adult volunteers. Annual celebrations include our Auction, Mother Cabrini Italian Dinner, International Night Market, Grands Day, and Illuminata. Special Event Committees provide great opportunities to harness a particular passion in support of Villa, and provide hours of great fun and connection!

PARENT AMBASSADORS

PARENT AMBASSADORS

One of the most important, impactful ways that families can get involved is through Villa’s Parent Ambassador program, the team of parent-leaders who help welcome prospective and new families to Villa. Parent Ambassadors work closely with Villa’s Enrollment office, leading tours, participating in recruitment events, coordinating our new family buddy pairings, and serving as brand representatives off campus/in the broader community. The Parent Ambassador team meets 6 times per year, primarily in advance of recruitment events.
